Overview
Google Maps Scraper helps you build local business lead lists directly from Google Maps. Enter what you are looking for (keywords) and where (location), and Metudo finds matching businesses, extracts their public contact details, and returns clean records ready for outreach or CRM import.
This actor is built for lead generation: agencies, sales teams, and founders use it to find restaurants, clinics, contractors, retailers, and other local businesses with phone numbers, emails, and websites.
How it works
- Set search criteria — Add one or more keywords (e.g. restaurant, dentist, HVAC) and a location such as a city, region, or full address.
- Control volume and quality — Set Maximum Results, Minimum Rating, and Minimum Reviews Count to focus on established businesses.
- Apply lead filters — Use Must Have Phone Number, Must Have Email Address, Must Have Website, and Exclude Duplicates to keep only actionable leads.
- Run the actor — Click Save & start. Metudo searches Google Maps for each keyword in your target area and collects matching places.
- Review and export — When the run finishes, open your dataset to preview rows, download a file, or push results to your workflow.
Pricing & credits
Metudo uses a simple credit model: 1 credit = 1 lead. Each business place returned counts as one lead and uses one credit from your plan balance.
Example: scraping 100 businesses uses 100 credits. If your plan includes 1,000 credits, you can collect up to 1,000 leads before needing to upgrade or purchase more credits.
You can set a Maximum credit per run in Run options to cap spend on large jobs. Credits are only consumed for results actually returned — filtered-out records do not count.
What you get in each lead
Each record typically includes:
- Business name and Google Maps category
- Full address and location details
- Phone number (when publicly listed)
- Website URL (when available)
- Email address (when discoverable from public sources)
- Google rating and review count
- Google Maps place URL for verification
Export & next steps
After a successful run, your results are saved as a dataset in Metudo. From there you can:
- Download CSV or Excel — Import directly into Google Sheets, HubSpot, Salesforce, or any CRM.
- Use the API — Pull results programmatically for custom pipelines and automations.
- Re-run with new filters — Clone your last input, tweak keywords or location, and launch again.
Tip: start with a small Maximum Results value (e.g. 50–100) to validate your keywords and location before scaling to thousands of leads.
Best practices
- Use specific keywords ("pediatric dentist" vs. "doctor") for higher-quality matches.
- Combine Must Have Website or Must Have Phone with a minimum review count to find established businesses.
- Enable Exclude Duplicates when running multiple similar keywords in the same area.
- Always comply with local laws and platform terms when contacting scraped businesses.
